If you are an alum who is passionate about technology and entrepreneurship – and about seeing BC students succeed, we invite you to become a Member of the Soaring Startup Circle.

Hosts & Mentors

We are identifying people who can host teams and/or host events. There will be one evening session each week during the summer, giving all the teams a chance to come together. These are about learning and about fostering social connections. Also we are assembling a pool of mentors – folks who can be generous and constructive while also being direct and honest. And who can make introductions on behalf of the student startups.

Donors

Startups are powered by passion and conviction, and our student teams will have that in spades. But companies also require some modest funds if they’re really going to make headway on their game-changing ideas. Our goal is for alumni donors to provide a total of $5,000 to each team. SSC is volunteer-run and totally lean. Virtually all donor funds go directly to the teams. (We provide a more precise reporting on that percentage at the end of the summer).
